Ngambenyi school completed!

We are so excited that the building of Ngambenyi Primary School in south east Kenya is now complete! The project was funded entirely by Hazel’s Footprints (£110,000) thanks to incredibly generous donations and delivered by the exceptional team at African Promise. Murray Watson reports on his volunteer year at Sand Creek Secondary, Guyana. Time to write from Letham Day 110, again I’m in Lethem – 3 hours from Sand Creek. This time meals and accommodation have been provided for by the ministry – thus the room is shared, the bed has no sheet or duvet and there’s no mossy nets but hey it’s free. Grant-funded Hunar Ghar pupils get top marks!

We’ve just heard some  incredible results from Hunar Ghar school in rural Rajasthan. Every single pupil in Standard 5 class has been awarded an A grade in recent state board exams.  This is one of the schools we fund under our Third Aim.  It’s run by a superb team at Educate for Life, a UK charity responsible for running the project in India.
