Tanzanian Secondary School has been “Made with Hope”

Last summer, we made a “third aim” grant of £8,900 to a wonderful UK-based charity called Made with Hope. A brand new school, CHETI Secondary, is now open thanks in part to this grant. Made with Hope should be very proud of bringing the very first secondary school to Nadaoito, a disadvantaged rural community near the city of Arusha. Grant-funded Hunar Ghar pupils get top marks!

We’ve just heard some  incredible results from Hunar Ghar school in rural Rajasthan. Every single pupil in Standard 5 class has been awarded an A grade in recent state board exams.  This is one of the schools we fund under our Third Aim.  It’s run by a superb team at Educate for Life, a UK charity responsible for running the project in India.
