A wonderful note has arrived from Wakadogo in Uganda alongside these pictures in the gallery below. I’m so pleased to tell you that we officially opened the new school library yesterday. It was a very proud moment for the school and was attended by local dignitaries and leaders, headteachers from neighbouring schools, all the staff at Wakadogo School and students from Primary 3 to 6. Photo Gallery from Wakadogo

We’ve just received some more photographs from Wakadogo. They tell us: ‘The library now has desks, chairs, bookshelves, solar power and computers. We will now spend the next few weeks doing a book drive in Uganda and the UK so that the library is filled with books by the time the children start the new academic year in February 2015.’
