We’ve just had a lovely update from Champion Chanzige on further progress with a classroom which was renovated over the summer. In May of this year, Hazel’s Footprints Trust provided £2,400 grant for repair and improvement works for a run-down classroom. This project was part of Champion Chanzige‘s ongoing work to improve the education of children in the Kisaware district of Tanzania, which we have previousy supported.
Since then, a group of volunteers has really put the icing on the cake of the renovation! The volunteers used their collective creativity to ensure that the learning environment is more colourful and interactive. We are thrilled – this really does complete the transformation.
